Yoga Jam Weekender November 4 - 6

 

Take time for yourself with a short getaway this November at the Yoga Jam Weekender. Christian Ralston and Saul & Emilia from Soul Drummer have brought together all the components required to help you unwind and simply have an awesome time away. Time in nature, time with great people, high quality yoga, great food and killer music.

We will get together at Swami’s Retreat Center. This beautiful and secluded location extends to sixty acres of natural vegetation and perfectly offers that sense of being “away” while still being less than a one hour drive from Sydney. Apart from the stunning location Swami’s Retreat Center prides itself on providing excellent, clean, healthy nutrient dense food prepared in a way that supports optimum health and vitality. The Kitchen will provide delicious, vegetarian offerings with other dietary requirements easily accommodated.

The Yoga Jam Weekender is punching well above its weight providing exceptional value for money with the added benefits of not needing to travel too far (no need to get on a plane) and not needing to take time off work as it fits snuggly into a normal weekend.

 

The Experience 

Over the weekend you will experience.

  • 1 x Full Yoga Jam Experience lead by Christian Ralston, Saul & Emilia Smith. This is fun one hour class, a mini drumming workshop and a yoga dance party 🙂

  • 2 x Vinyasa Yoga practice suitable for all levels lead by Christian Ralston

  • 1 x “Greatest Hips” workshop lead by Christian. Massage balls and hip opening class.

  • 1 x Yin Class lead by Christian Ralston

  • 1 x African Drumming Workshop lead by Saul & Emilia Smith.

  • 1 x morning sunrise bush walks. (optional)

  • 2 x nights accommodation

  • 2 x 30-minute morning meditations (optional)

  • 6 x Delicious vegetarian meals. All meals are covered.

  • 1 x Saturday night campfire with hang drum musical experience with Saul.

  • Access to the swimming pool with poolside Hip Hop Jams playing Saturday Afternoon

Accommodation Options

Retreat accommodation consists of ten spacious and bright cabin-style rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and cosy bedding. Located by the pool, the guest rooms will ensure you a beautiful and calm sleep. There are four accommodation options.

I was so blessed to attend the retreat @ Kenthurst last weekend! Everyone was very friendly, inclusive and accepting of all the newcomers of which I was one. Fabulous yoga and inspiring drumming only surpassed by African dancing. A whole lot of fun and many new friends made along the way. I am already looking forward to the next time! Yoga Jam Weekender Schedule

Below is a rough guide for timings over the Weekend. This is a Yoga Getaway where everything is optional so if you can’t quite make Friday nights class, no drama. If you need to leave early on Sunday and get back to Sydney, no problem. If you want to just chill and skip a yoga class or workshop this is fine too. Please see below.

Friday

  • Arrive between 3 – 5pm. Please dont worry if its later. It’s fine if you can’t make the first class.

  • Yoga Practice 5pm – 6pm

  • Dinner 6pm

  • Welcome ceremony & Yin 715pm – 815pm

Saturday

  • Sunrise bushwalk

  • Meditation 7am

  • Breakfast 8am

  • Yoga Practice 830am – 1030am

  • Myofascial release workshop using massage balls 11 am 1230pm

  • Lunch 1230

  • Drum/Dance Workshop with Soul Drummer 2pm

  • Free time by the pool with some smooth beats. 430pm – 6pm

  • Dinner 6pm

  • 8pm Camp Fire (If allowed due to fire risk)

Sunday

  • Meditation 7am

  • Light Breakfast 8am

  • Yoga Jam. Yoga Drums & House Music 9am – 11am

  • Freetime by the pool

  • Lunch 1230

  • Home Time 2pm
